Immunity system basically works like a shield that prevents our body from harmful virus and bacteria. It also strengthen our body to fight against any kind of disease. It works through our blood cells, tissues and organs that help us to strengthen our body's defence system to fight against any threat to our health. Without it we'd be exposed to billions of bacteria and viruses that could make something as minor as a paper cut or a seasonal cold fatal.
How to know that your immune system is weak or not?
Everyone's immunity doesn't work same. Some people gets strong immunity naturally and some gets weak immunity naturally. It is always important to take care of our immune system so that it can help us to fight against the germs. So, here are some signs from which you can be alert about your immune system.
● Your stress level is getting higher - According to a report by American Psychological Association, long-term stress weakens the actions of your immunity system. That's because stress decreases the body's lymphocytes, the white blood cells that fight off infections. The lower your lymphocyte level, the chances higher that you can get affected by the viruses like common cold.
● You always have a cold/you get affected easily by cold or flu - It is perfectly normal for adults to sneeze and sniffle through two or three colds each year. Most people bounce back within 7 or 10 days.
During that time, the immune system develops antibodies within 3 to 4 days to fight against the germs. But if you are constantly catching colds or have a cold that is not getting cured then it is a sign that you should take care of your immunity system.
● You have digestion issues - If your digestion system is not working properly or if you have diarrhoea, gas or constipation then it could be a sign that your immunity is getting low.
Research shows that nearly 70% of your immune system is located in your digestive tract. The beneficial bacteria and microorganisms that live there defend your gut from infections and support your immunity system. Low amount of these good bacteria can cause you get affected easily by viruses, chronic inflammation and even autoimmune disorders that shows your immunity system is getting weak.
● You feel tired all the time - If you are getting enough rest but still feeling exhausted all the time then your immunity system might be trying to tell you that it is high time you should look onto it and try to increase it's strength.

• Having more than four ear infections in one year.
• Developing pneumonia twice during a one ear period.
• Suffering from chronic sinusitis or more than three episodes of bacterial sinusitis in a year.
• Needing more than two courses of antibiotics a year.
These are some signs questions trying to alert you about your immune system. If you are facing these problems then you should not neglect them, you should take a quick action and must maintain it to increase your your immunity power to achieve a good health.
